Jean-Claude Van Damme’ spagat statue in Azerbaijan (Vandam village)

A statue of Jean-Claude Van Damme was erected in the Vandam village of the Gabala region in Azerbaijan. Local residents joke that the famous actor Jean-Claude Van Damme, in fact, their countryman.

The actor is represented in sculpture sitting on a twine. A photo of the monument erected in the village of Vandam was posted on the social network Facebook by journalist Shakir Eminbeyli.

Jean-Claude Camille François Van Varenberg (born 18 October 1960), professionally known as Jean-Claude Van Damme, is a Belgian martial artist born in Brussels, actor, and director best known for his martial arts action films.
